The Dreamcast was home to many great arcade racers such as Daytona Usa 2001, Sega Rally 2 and this one Hydro Thunder.There is so much to love about this game, the graphics are sublime with amazingly well detailed backgrounds and over the top effects. The sound is high quality with excellent commentary, sound effects and catchy tunes.
The controls are brilliant (largely thanks to the Dreamcast pad which is great for racers due to the triggers) and best of all the gameplay is arcade perfection, Hydro Thunder is arguably the most fun racing game on the
console.

For an arcade racer there is a very large amount of courses (14 overall) and very diverse they were too including an Artic
track, a Greek Isle and through an active volcano. There are also 13 different power boats to choose from all of which handle very differently from each other.
